Attention from the world's defence and homeland security industry will be on Abu Dhabi as it stages the monumental 10th anniversary edition of IDEX.

Visitors to IDEX 2011 can expect:

Over 900 exhibitors

Showcasing the latest products and technology around 12 indoor exhibition halls, outside static display areas and on the water at ADNEC marina.

Daily live demonstrations

Exhibitors will demonstrate a comprehansive range of highly technical manoeuvres and operational abilities for the latest land vehicles, UAV’s, UGV’s and sea craft.

Gulf Defence Conference (GDC)

Returning again, the GDC will be an insightful and educational one-day conference organised by Jane’s Information Group. Details of the conference topic and speakers will be announced in 2010.

Enhancements to ADNEC

In 2011 the host venue, ADNEC, will offer new facilities including:

The release of nearly 600 onsite hotel rooms/suites at two hotels adjacent to ADNEC – Aloft Abu Dhabi and Hyatt at Capital Gate
The opening of further retail units and catering outlets throughout the venue
A fully operational Abu Dhabi International Airport check-in facility incorporating duty free shopping.
