Solas Marine Services Dubai, enters into the field of High Speed & High-Tech Composite Boats building. The group’s company Solas Marine Lanka, recently won an order to build 80 numbers of Fast Interceptor Crafts for Indian Navy in Global competition & construction is in full swing.

The high speed interceptor craft, with air conditioned crew area is very effective for wide range of duties. It can be used by Military, Para-military and Law Enforcement agencies and is an ideal craft for Search & Rescue duties, where speed is the essence, to save lives. The deep –vee chine hull form with sharp water entry ensures a soft ride in adverse sea states. The craft’s model has been tested at Wolfson, UK. Vacuum infusion process is used to build hull, ensuring significant strength gains, intrinsic to the technology. She has excellent sea-keeping and dynamic stability capability at high speed in sea state 3 and is sea worthy up to sea state 4, meeting all crew comfort & safety measures at high speeds.
Exhibition and one-day technical workshop
IDEX is launching a new area dedicated to showcasing technology and equipment of unmanned vehicle systems. It will attract visitors looking to source the latest equipment and systems of the rapidly developing technology of UAVs and UGVs.

Daily coreographed displays will take place on the water and on the purpose-built demonstration track, including the Grand Opening Day parade on Sunday, 17th February 2013.
